Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
